For those new to the club, here is some info on Host Night:

It is a great night and a good fund raiser for the club. Rooms are open from 5.00pm. The coaches and the kids read out a match report, sharing the microphone around. During the year, all teams have a turn at being hosts. The parents make a pot or plate of food and it is served after the reports on Sunday nights. We need a big involvement from the parents, we feed between 150 – 200 on most Sundays.

Entry to Host Night costs $5 per adult and $4 for kids, or $10 for a family. The host team is also responsible for serving from the canteen on the night as well as policing the serving line and cleaning up at the end. Host night is a big part of Sunday football and everyone is encouraged to be there. Drinks at bar prices.. The night winds up at around 8 pm, so not a late night.. school tomorrow!

Host nights 2010 will start at 5.30pm, with coaches reports kicking off at 6PM sharp. Please limit these reports to a few minutes only. The first night will start with the under 16’s and go down to the under 9’s, just to show the newer coaches and kids what happens.

Once your team has picked their food, please write it on the list on the notice board at the rooms. Variety is the spice of life and we need to be creative! Nothing with Peanuts!!
